STRANGE BEHAVIOUR

There is so much I could write about the behaviour and choices of the new First Minister but I just want to write a few lines which in my view highlight the abysmal lack of commitment by Scottish politicians to the fight for Scottish Independence.

Across the country many hundreds of thousands support Independence. They rightly expect leadership. They want to see our politicians take the fight to Westminster. They want action. They want leaders who take the opportunities to highlight Scotland’s case to the International Community.

We know this scares Westminster who have recently introduced rules to stop Scottish politicians talking to foreign Governments without a UK REPRESENTATIVE from the Foreign and Commonwealth being present. A surer sign of the colonial status of Scotland would be hard to find.

Let’s be kind and suggest the Scottish Government response to this insult has been muted. What could they have done? What could they still do?

Well Charles is a bit of a vulnerable political target at the moment is he not?

The First Minister could refuse the Stone of Destiny being taken south for the Coronation, these are stolen goods, it is well documented. Indeed it was a Royal theft carried out by a previous King of England. Such a move by Scotland would create great international interest. Why is that important? Because it is just the first step in the story Scotland needs told. Even better England would have to use force. Imagine the stushie that would create?

Our next move should be to highlight that Charles intends to take only the ancient English oath. He has no intention of taking the Scottish oath yet it is that oath only that might legally entitle him to the assets of Scotland in the shape of our oil, gas and renewable energy to highlight a few examples. Even then not for him personally but solely on behalf of the Scottish people, who are sovereign in Scotland. The English oath grants him the rights under the feudal system in England but Scotland is different. It’s time to let the World hear that don’t you think?

Now I know my readers are getting quite enthused by this point so I am sorry I am going to let you down by telling you what the new Scottish FM is planning to do.

He agreed with the Stone of Destiny being moved South. I have had no word whether he has offered his services to load it on the vehicle himself along with the other members of his cabinet.

He has no intention of raising any complaint over the use of the ancient English oath with no corresponding statement using the Scottish oath. He does not seem to mind Scotland being raped and pillaged illegally by England.

Worst of all he should not be there in the first place. If he had an ounce of consistency he should be calling on Charles to stand down, to be sacked. Why? Because he is happy to have suspended Margaret Ferrier, a commoner and a SNP Member of Parliament, after she made the mistake of travelling South while having Covid. Did not King Charles travel North to Balmoral along with his whole entourage while having Covid himself? No sanctions for him then?

So ladies and gentlemen there is the difference between fighting for Independence and going through the motions, picking up a jolly fat salary on the way.

When I state we have the wrong man and the wrong cabinet and the wrong NEC at the forefront of the Yes movement it’s not difficult to highlight a few examples of a different path.

I can assure you Salvo Liberation will be taking that different path….at every opportunity!

BEAT THE CENSORS

Regretfully there are some among us who seek to censor what others read. Sadly within the YES movement there are sites which claim to be pro Indy but exist to only promote one Party and will not publish articles which come from bloggers who don’t slavishly support that Party to the exclusion of the rest of the YES movement.
