This notice was sent yesterday to SNP MEMBERS. The key date here is the date for branches to submit resolutions for the National Conference. As the SNP MEMBER WROTE WHEN HE SENT ME THIS
“So less than two weeks notice if we wanted to put up a motion when most branches probably don’t meet in July ?”
For a conference three months away.
Just why such a tight timescale? Why must resolutions be submitted almost THREE MONTHS in advance of the Conference?
The most obvious reason is twofold, firstly most branches don’t meet in July so at a stroke a huge section of the Party are denied the opportunity to submit any resolution. Secondly this timescale completely eliminates branches getting together and agreeing resolutions with other branches.
They fear changes to clear up the enormous loss of ordinary members power and voice since Angus Robertson’s amendments handed out free passes to every woke controlled minority organisation they could think up. Senior office bearer positions, NEC positions where they are handed out like confetti to the woke loyal without any voting support from the ordinary membership. They are there for one purpose only, to neutralise any move by the ordinary membership to regain control of their own Party.
WHAT TO DO?
The only thing you can, branches and individual members who oppose this manipulation must do all of the following
1 Contact HQ and give them 48 hours to extend the deadline for resolutions to the end of August 2023
2. Make clear if no statement to this effect is issued you as an individual will go public with your opposition and you will start or join an internal campaign to achieve proper democracy within the Party.
3. Flood HQ with opposition to this latest outrage.
4 TAKE BACK YOUR PARTY!
5. At the moment ordinary members have no say. If you are happy for this to continue…DO NOTHING!

PLEASE SHARE THIS WIDELY. TIME IS AGAINST ORDINARY MEMBERS, ONCE AGAIN YOU ARE GETTING SIDELINED BY THE LEADERSHIP. SURELY THERE HAVE BEEN ENOUGH DISASTERS IN THE LAST YEAR. FAILURE TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS GUARANTEES “CONTINUITY” and getting slaughtered at the polls next year. You need to create massive trouble to get this reversed.
