AND THEY WONDER WHY THEY ARE DYING.

This is why the MSM is dying. This is written by the Daily Telegraph’s “Scottish” Correspondent. He gets paid for writing guff like this. This is his take on the Candidates List released yesterday by Alba. It is not worthy of the slightest consideration, rather instead let’s have a look at his organisation.

Now Dan Sanderson may well be Desperate Dan because his publication is failing, so much so that they have pulled out of providing their circulation numbers to ABC, the organisation that collates and publishes this type of information.

I searched for circulation information for sales in Scotland and had to go back to 2016 to find even an estimate. Now we all know sales have collapsed in the time since but even then it was roughly about half what my blog alone achieves each day. Nowadays it is probably a quarter, if that.

You see I know he writes in total ignorance. Having been directly involved in pro Indy politics in Scotland for over 35 years I have a. very good knowledge of many of the Alba candidates, I know them, have met many of them. Mr Sanderson, if he is lucky might have met a handful but feels qualified to write his disparaging article nonetheless and has the cheek to hope Scottish readers will pay for the privilege of reading his largely ignorant view.

The days when the Tory Daily Telegraph had any influence or power in Scotland has long gone. This is how one of his own readers thought of his article

“So not a fan of Alex Salmond then Daniel, but a huge fan of Nicola Sturgeon? 

Why not be honest  then and say, 

‘ Here is a partisan political article on behalf of the SNP’ “

Aye and there is the rub, the giveaway, the most notorious Brit rag is now supporting Nicola Sturgeon as a safe pair of hands to keep the Union safe for another five years. How did it come to this? It’s a question many are asking.

It can’t be just the £3 million pounds that she gifted to the MSM, keeping them afloat while Scots stopped buying the anti Scottish propaganda they so regularly spout.

It is quite an “achievement” for the Leader of the SNP to become the darling of the pro Union media. It is happening for one overwhelming reason. Alba has them terrified, they fear a supermajority, they need Alba to be defeated. They have only one hope…Nicola Sturgeon. Can she be the vehicle to save all those Tory, Labour and Lib seats on the list?

It is a forlorn hope. This election will not be, despite the MSM’s best efforts, between Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon. It will be instead about how best to move Independence forward. How best to maximise the YES.

It will never happen because Alex Salmond and the Alba message will be of unrelenting positivity and he will not respond to the jibes and the smears and will rely entirely on the unarguable case that a SUPERMAJORITY wins the election for Scotland.

WHEN IT COMES TO THAT SNP1ALBA2 is the overwhelmingly sensible way to go. Scotland’s increasingly educated electorate will not fail to see the sense in that.

So enjoy your moment in the sun Dan with your name being shared with more readers in Scotland than the Daily Telegraph can manage. You are yesterday’s biased and discredited media and your days of decline and eventual redundancy lie before you. How long? A day, a week, a month, a year? Can’t be much longer and judging by the dearth of sensible questioning from his colleagues at today’s press conference he won’t be alone in facing the chop.

Unless of course they can find a way to report events here in Scotland in a realistic and unbiased manner. I know, too much to hope for?
