I am taking some time off.
This is a big week as in few days time my youngest daughter ( Rachel) is getting married to her long term boyfriend (Lorenzo)
We have family and friends arriving from Canada, France and Estonia all week and my wife and both daughters are up to their eyes with all the essential equipment that is necessary. Wedding dresses, bridesmaid outfits, wedding shoes, earrings, new underwear etc. Rarely has my bank account been more active. I am only joking, despite all the activity I seem to have lived a charmed life on the expenses front. I have however spoiled myself with purchasing a new handmade kilt for the wedding. I can’t be looking like a tramp amidst all this finery.
I look forward to it all being over when I finally retire from my job in the warehouse dept. of the goods received section of my house.
A few days after the wedding I am off for a well deserved rest to my home in Clearwater in Florida where I can dust off my golf clubs and also hopefully get a bit of fishing and other worthwhile pursuits like visiting the pool every day into my schedule.
So my blog will stay live but my own input will be minimal. I hope people will send in their guest articles ( Iain.lawson27@gmail.com) and of course any relevant photographs ( same email address). I will be in Florida until just before Christmas.
The exception to this will be when Sara and Salvo decides to make public a very big story which she has unearthed and which we have both been planning the release for maximum impact. Salvo is hosting a big event in early November a part of which will involve another showing of the Singing Revolution film that tells the story of the successful campaign to secure Estonia’s independence. It is a hugely inspiring story and had a big impact on all those who viewed it at the SSRG Conference earlier this year. I will be dropping in from the USA via Zoom to make a few comments at the end of this. Don’t miss the opportunity to see it again or for the first time at the Salvo Event. We all badly need inspiration these days.
So my apologies but I am pretty much burnt out and need a break for a while. I will return in 2023 where I hope to see the YES movement more active than it was in 2022.
My hopes and efforts lie with Salvo and Liberation. Let’s build the numbers we need.
I can also reveal that Sara Salyers has written an excellent and important article which will be published on Yours for Scotland tomorrow. It oozes key information and will no doubt upset those who believe that progress on Independence can only happen within established political parties. Other routes are most certainly going to be available.
I will also be landing in the USA a matter of days before their mid term elections which, according to reports, are very close. So I may have some news of what I think about those elections as well.
So there you are, I started by writing I was taking a break and by the end of my one page explanation I was able to tell you about another three things I had on the go. It’s that type of blog!
I am, as always
Yours for Scotland.
BEAT THE CENSORS
Unfortunately some pro Indy websites are not pro Indy. They are pro SNP sites and ban any content on their sites which dares to question the SNP or the SNP leader. They seek to censor discussion and free expression. Fortunately many of my readers share the articles on Yours for Scotland frequently and because of this the attempted censorship is proving ineffective. This support is very important and I thank everyone who share and protect freedom of speech and choice.
FREE SUBSCRIPTIONS

SALVO
The progress of Salvo has been the most encouraging development of 2022. It is doing sterling work educating Scots about the Claim of Right and spelling out what it means that the Scottish people are sovereign, not any Parliament. All donations to this site for the remainder of 2022 will be forwarded to Salvo to support them in developing and expanding this valuable work.
LIBERATION.SCOT
Please register at Liberation.scot and join the mass membership organisation that will be the signatories to our application to the UN, debate and organise a new Scottish Constitution. The membership of Liberation is also where the first members of Scotland’s National Congress will be balloted for selection.
