ONE MILLION POUNDS IN £20 NOTES.

Now imagine 20 more stacks just like the one above to represent the almost one million SNP LIST votes in 2016 that would have been as well being burned in the furnace. They would have been of the same value. In or out the furnace they didn’t count because the electoral system punished Parties who are successful in the constituency section of the vote by dividing the list vote by the number of winning victories in the constituency section plus one. So if the SNP WIN 9 seats in that section the 120,000 votes cast in the list section counts only 12,000. (120,000 divided by 10). 12,000 is not sufficient to win even one seat. So even though they EASILY won more votes than any other Party, in fact more than several other parties added together, it will be the other Unionist parties, rather than the SNP who will be rewarded with the seats. Alba has been created to make this fairer. By only contesting the list section they are ideally placed to sweep up those pro Indy votes, previously wasted on the SNP, changing them into winning seats for pro Indy candidates while stopping Tories, Labour and Libs benefiting by default. It just needs the electorate to understand this and it is certain to be successful.

A DESPERATE NEED FOR CONFUSION AND IGNORANCE.

It is so much easier to enjoy an election when you can be absolutely sure your message is honest and truthful. How hard it must be to be spinning a tale where your only hope of success is your electorate not taking the few minutes it requires to check out the truth, or where your every effort is to deceive and confuse rather than honestly accept you are trying to flog a dead horse.

That ladies and gentlemen is going to be the overriding difference between the Alba and SNP/ Unionist messages in the weeks ahead. The SNP, after only one week is already hopelessly exposed to ridicule. The SNP leader has been on TV arguing AGAINST a pro Indy supermajority, saying she only wants a tiny SNP majority. Given the vagaries of the electoral system she is asking everyone to GAMBLE on the very complicated arithmetic and wasting close on one million votes being worth it. It is the height of irresponsibility and could have disasterous effects if things get tight. All the more so because it is so unnecessary. If you doubt this explain then the complete blanking of Alba being on the telly. This is information the Union, and therefore the BBC HAVE NO INTENTION OF LETTING YOU FIND OUT ABOUT IT!

The Alba option is vastly superior. It guarantees a pro Indy majority and offers the very realistic prospect of a Supermajority, of more than two thirds of the Parliament being in favour of Independence, greatly strengthening Parliament’s position when threatened by Westminster allowing for an instant election, even a plebiscite election if it is required. It will also make obtaining international support for our Independence to be recognised that much easier, when foreign Governments can see a supermajority for Independence in the Parliament. That majority is secured by voting SNP in the constituency ballot then voting Alba Party on the list vote rather than wasting it on a worthless SNP vote on the list.

Even SNP MP’s find it hard to disguise the truth. As Wings mentioned this week this was Angus Brendan MacNeil MP response when questioned by the media

I found that hilarious and I salute Brendan for his honesty. It was the same conversation I had with a SNP MSP at this weekend who told me “I can’t say this in public but my entire family, including siblings and their families will be voting Alba. It’s a no brainer. If you understand the voting system it’s a must do”

So I suspect the longer this campaign goes on the more understanding will spread amongst the electorate, they are smart and once pointed in the right direction or encouraged to research it for themselves, there can only be one outcome, because there is certainty in this.

As Jim Sillars said back in 2014 between the hours of 7am and 10 pm on the 6th May the people of Scotland will hold great power in our hands. It can determine our fate, good or bad. Let us use that power positively to strengthen our country to put us on the road to Independence by securing a Parliamentary Supermajority for Independence. Let’s max the Yes by uniting the Yes! Vote SNP IN THE CONSTITUENCY VOTE. ALBA PARTY ON THE LIST. LETS WIN BIG!
